Renaissance Period
The Renaissance period was the transition from the Medieval period to the Baroque Period, with new styles and genres being introduced such as the Toccata and Prelude. Composers from Guilaume Dufay to Philippe Rogier.

Baroque Period
The Baroque period was the period which was a stepping stone to the classical period. Composers from Johann Bach to George Handel.

Classical Period
The classical period was a developed Baroque Period with "modernised" styles. The main composers who outlined the period were Mozart and Beethoven. Discuss anything about the composers, the music or anything else to do with this.

Romantic Period
The Romantic period is by far my favorite period. The music produced during this time was amazing, it was classical, but with more emotion and dynamics and it was before people started to test out new progressions which never really sounded as good as some of the works by such composers as Chopin and Felix Mendelssohn.
